Sheila Flynn

Sheila Flynn is a senior US features writer focusing on human interest, true crime and social justice. She began her career at The Associated Press before moving to Ireland, where she spent more than a decade writing national news features, twice earning recognition at the Justice Media Awards. She returned to the States in 2017, joining The Independent four years later, and is based in Denver.
