Zion Williamson encestó un máximo de temporada de 32 puntos, así como 11 rebotes y los Pelicans de Nueva Orleans nunca estuvieron en desventaja para vencer por 129-110 el miércoles a los Spurs de San Antonio, que suman seis derrotas seguidas.

Williamson anotó 14 de 18 tiros de campo.

Los Pelicans ampliaron su ventaja a 24 unidades en el cuarto periodo y ganaron por séptima ocasión en nueve encuentros.

Los suplentes de San Antonio ligaron 11 puntos a 3:20 minutos del final para recortar la ventaja de Nueva Orleans a 118-102, pero el juego se había decidido prácticamente desde los primeros minutos.

El base de los Spurs Devin Vassell firmó 26 tantos y ocho asistencias y Doug McDermott agregó 21 puntos. San Antonio ha perdido 11 de 12 duelos.

Jonas Valanciunas terminó con 22 puntos y 10 rebotes por Nueva Orleans. El puertorriqueño José Alvarado tuvo cinco puntos y nueve asistencias.
