Se espera que la tormenta tropical Epsilon tenga o esté cerca de alcanzar la fuerza de huracán a medida que se acerque a las Bermudas el jueves por la mañana.

Todavía es demasiado pronto para saber cuál será la trayectoria e intensidad de Epsilon una vez que esté cerca de la isla, pero el Centro Nacional de Huracanes de Estados Unidos indicó el martes que existe el riesgo de un impacto directo.

Hay una alerta de tormenta tropical en Bermudas y los residentes deben monitorear de cerca la tormenta.

El martes al medio día, la tormenta tenía vientos máximos sostenidos de 95 kilómetros por hora (60 millas) y se espera un fortalecimiento adicional. Su vórtice se ubicaba a 1.085 kilómetros (675 millas) al este-sureste de Bermuda y se movía hacia el norte-noroeste a 19 km/h (12 mph).

La temporada de este año ha tenido tantas tormentas que el centro de huracanes ha recurrido al alfabeto griego para los nombres de las tormentas tras agotar la nomenclatura oficial.
