La tormenta tropical Epsilon se formó el lunes en el centro del Atlántico, la más reciente de una temporada de huracanes muy activa.

La tormenta tenía vientos máximos sostenidos de casi 65 kilómetros por hora (40 millas). Se espera un fortalecimiento adicional y que para el jueves esté cerca o tenga de la fuerza de un huracán, dijo el Centro Nacional de Huracanes de Estados Unidos.

El lunes temprano, el vórtice de la tormenta estaba a 1.185 kilómetros (735 millas) al sureste de Bermudas.
