Israel ha agradecido a Estados Unidos por bloquear una declaración de la ONU que pide un alto al fuego inmediato en Gaza, subrayando la necesidad de proteger a los niños y al resto de la población civil.

El lunes, el gobierno de Biden rechazó, por tercera vez, el borrador de una declaración que habría pedido una disminución de la violencia y habría expresado su preocupación por la pérdida de vidas civiles y heridos en más de una semana de violencia.
