Nick Castellanos quebró el empate con un jonrón de dos carreras en el octavo inning y los Filis de Filadefia capitalizaron tras apelar una decisión al vencer el miércoles 3-1 a los Bravos de Atlanta.

Después de ser apaleados 13-1 en el primer juego de una serie de dos juegos entre rivales del Este de la Liga Nacional, los Filis parecían encaminados a la derrota cuando J.T. Realmuto bateó un rodado que acabó en un doble play que mantenía a los Bravos arriba 1-0.

Pero Filadelfia apeló y la repetición mostró que el pie de Realmuto tocó primero la inicial mientras Rhys Hoskins cruzaba el plato desde tercera con la carrera del empate.

Con el juego igualado 1-1, Collin McHugh (2-2) quedó en cuenta de 2-0 y dejó servida una pelota que Castellanos despachó 420 pies por el jardín central-izquierda para su noveno jonrón de la campaña.

Zack Wheeler (10-5) se apuntó la victoria sobre el equipo de su ciudad natal al lanzar pelota de cinco hits en siete innings, rompiendo una racha de cuatro victorias de Atlanta. Su único titubeo fue el quinto al tolerar un jonrón solitario a Orlando Arcia.
