Una mujer irrumpió el viernes en la alfombra roja del Festival de Cine de Cannes y se quitó la ropa para revelar un mensaje contra la violación escrito en su cuerpo antes del estreno de “Three Thousand Years of Longing” de George Miller.

La mujer no identificada llevaba en el torso las palabras “Dejen de violarnos” junto a los colores azul y amarillo de la bandera de Ucrania. También se pintó rojo en las piernas y la ingle.

Mientras gritaba "¡No nos violen!”, personal de seguridad rápidamente la rodeó y la sacó de la alfombra.

Representantes del festival no hicieron declaraciones de inmediato.

La guerra de Rusia en Ucrania ha sido a menudo el centro de atención en el festival de Cannes de este año, que proyecta varias películas de cineastas ucranianos. El festival prohibió la asistencia de rusos con vínculos con el Kremlin. El presidente de Ucrania, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, pronunció un discurso el martes vía satélite para inaugurar el festival.
