Asesor de la Casa Blanca, Stephen Miller, da positivo por coronavirus

Stephen Miller, asesor principal del presidente Donald Trump y el encargado de redactar sus discursos, dio positivo a coronavirus el martes.

Miller había arrojado negativo en pruebas anteriores mientras la Casa Blanca intentaba contener un brote en el complejo que enfermó a Trump, a la primera dama y a más de una decena de asesores y allegados, informó un alto funcionario del gobierno.

Miller es uno de los arquitectos de la política de “Estados Unidos primero” y de las restrictivas medidas migratorias que ha implementado el presidente.

Su esposa, Katie Miller, quien funge como directora de comunicaciones del vicepresidente Mike Pence, ya había contraído el virus y sus resultados fueron negativos después de la última vez que ella lo vio. Katie Miller estaba en Salt Lake City con Pence, donde el vicepresidente se prepara para un debate con la aspirante demócrata a la vicepresidencia Kamala Harris, pero salió de la ciudad tan pronto como se enteró del diagnóstico de su marido.
