El comediante Humphrey Ker compartió la respuesta de Ryan Reynolds a ser llamado “z****” en el primer partido de Wrexham al que asistió.

El actor de Hollywood, de 45 años, compró recientemente el club de fútbol con la estrella de It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Rob McElhenney y, en febrero de 2022, tomó el control total del club.

La historia de su inversión de más de US$2,3 millones (£2 millones) se contará en la serie documental Welcome to Wrexham, que se estrenará en Disney Plus.

Ambos ha asistido a varios partidos, pero según el comediante Ker, a quien nombraron director ejecutivo, los fanáticos no siempre han sido amables.

En una nueva entrevista de Reynolds y McElhenney con The Times, Ker reveló que “tuvo que explicar” al dúo “que no importa cuán exitoso sea el equipo, alguien se les acercará y los llamará ‘z****’”.

Ker agregó: “[En] El primer juego al que asistieron en Maidenhead recibieron abusos, y creo que realmente lo disfrutaron”.

Wrexham empató 1-1 con Maidenhead en el partido del 29 de enero, concediendo un gol en el minuto 92.
