Un estudiante de la Universidad de Luisiana en Lafayette que acaba de graduarse le agradeció públicamente a la rapera Nicki Minaj por pagar su colegiatura.

Hace tres años, alguien contactó a Minaj a través de Twitter solicitándole ayuda para pagar sus estudios universitarios. Minaj aceptó bajo la condición de que le mostrara que tenía las mejores calificaciones: “Muéstrame As en línea que pueda verificar con tu escuela y lo pagaré”.

Decenas de fans recurrieron a Minaj después de esto, incluido Artavion Cook, quien le preguntó en Twitter si podría ayudarlo con un saldo pendiente de 1.300 dólares. La artista lo hizo, y esta semana Cook se graduó con un título en biología.

“Este día es aún más especial porque @NICKIMINAJ pagó mi matrícula hace algunos semestres, ¡y hoy es su cumpleaños!”, tuiteó el recién graduado, según el Daily Advertiser.

El diario reportó que Cook se dispone ahora a estudiar medicina y que está listo para tomar la prueba MCAT a principios del próximo año. Le gustaría ir a una universidad como LSU Shreveport, Morehouse, Howard University o Meharry Medical College.
