La estrella de Countdown, Rachel Riley, condenó a Johnny Depp en medio del juicio por difamación que está llevando a cabo el actor contra su exesposa Amber Heard.

Depp demandó a Heard por US$50 millones. Alega que Heard insinuó que él abusó de ella en un artículo de opinión del Washington Post de 2018 sobre la violencia doméstica.

Heard está contrademandando por US$100 millones, y acusa a Depp de orquestar una “campaña de desprestigio” contra ella y describe su demanda como una continuación de “abuso y acoso”.

En Twitter, Riley compartió un hilo de otro usuario titulado “Johnny Depp: una historia problemática”.

El hilo detalla una serie de controversias pasadas de Depp, incluyendo su amistad con Marilyn Manson, y las acusaciones de abuso que se están discutiendo actualmente en el juicio por difamación.

“No le desearía este tipo a mi peor enemigo”, escribió Riley.

La presentadora es una de las muchas celebridades que han expresado su aparente apoyo a Heard, con Julia Fox y Kathy Griffin también entre los que se han pronunciado.

Otros, mientras tanto, han apoyado públicamente a Depp, con celebridades como Winona Ryder, Javier Bardem y Eva Green que parecen estar del lado de la estrella de Pirates of the Caribbean en la disputa.
