Paul Bettany ha revelado que su personaje de Marvel, Vision, se mostró casi completamente desnudo en la película de 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Bettany protagoniza actualmente junto a Elizabeth Olsen WandaVision, una serie derivada de Disney+ en la que los personajes de los Vengadores se trasplantan a una sucesión de parodias de comedias de situación del siglo XX.

Hablando en el taburete de bar Lights Camera en el podcast, Bettany reveló que el director de Age of Ultron , Joss Whedon, originalmente había querido mostrar el pene de su personaje en la pantalla.

En el universo cinematográfico de Marvel, Vision es un "sintezoide" no humano que se crea artificialmente durante los eventos de Age of Ultron .

"Sé que Joss Whedon aparentemente realmente quería la interpretación de él, cuando Vision nació por primera vez, antes de que se vistiera", dijo Bettany. “Él estaba como, 'Debe tener un pene'".

"En realidad, en algún lugar está la interpretación del nacimiento de Vision con estos penes y los pusieron todos en la pared", agregó el actor. “Y todos entraron y se sentaron y Joss dijo, 'Sí, estoy 100 por ciento equivocado. No necesito ver ninguno de estos'”.
