Los precios de las acciones bajaban pronunciadamente el lunes por la mañana al inicio de transacciones en la Bolsa de Valores de Nueva York siguiendo la tendencia de los demás mercados y continuando la baja iniciada hace varios días.

El índice S&P 500 caía 1,3%. El índice no sufría un descenso de más de 1% desde mediados de agosto.

El índice de Hong Kong perdía 3,3%, su mayor descenso desde julio, debido a las repercusiones de los problemas de la empresa china de bienes raíces Evergrande.

Los mercados europeos también disminuían, en promedio de 2%.

El rendimiento de los bonos del tesoro estadounidense a 10 años bajaba a 1,32%.
