Deandre Ayton encestó 27 puntos, Mikal Bridges sumó 18 y los Suns de Phoenix derrotaron el jueves a Milwaukee 131-107 en una reedición de la final de la NBA de la temporada pasada que se llevaron los Bucks.

El marcador fue muy ajustado durante casi toda la primera parte, pero los Suns fueron abriendo poco a poco una brecha en el tercer cuarto para llegar al definitivo con una ventaja de 97-77 a su favor, con 12 de 14 lanzamientos de campo con una amplia variedad de movimientos y tiros.

Los Suns llegaron a tener una renta de 27 tantos en el cuarto y recibieron la ovación en pie de su público en los últimos minutos, cuando el quinteto titular pasó a la banca.

Chris Paul aportó 17 puntos y 19 asistencias para el doble-doble número 500 de su carrera. Es el cuarto base que lo logra en la historia de la NBA.

Con el tropiezo, los Bucks interrumpieron una seguidilla de cuatro victorias. Jrue Holiday y Khris Middleton lideraron al equipo con 21 unidades cada uno. Giannis Antetokounmpo totalizó 18 tantos, ocho asistencias y siete rebotes.

Phoenix ha ganado 15 de sus 16 últimos partidos y su foja de 45-10 es la mejor de la liga.
