George Springer disparó un jonrón para iniciar su primer partido en contra de su ex equipo y el dominicano Santiago Espinal se voló la barda por segundo encuentro consecutivo para encaminar a los Azulejos de Toronto a un triunfo el sábado 3-2 sobre los Astros de Houston.

Los Astros hilvanaron su cuarta derrota.

El encuentro estaba empatado 2-2 con un out en el séptimo inning cuando Espinal, quien conectó su primer jonrón de la temporada en la victoria del viernes por la noche, se voló la barda ante Blake Taylor (0-1).

Los Azulejos encabezan las Grandes Ligas con 20 cuadrangulares después de sacudir cuatro en los primeros dos partidos de esta serie.

Alek Manoah (3-0) permitió siete imparables y dos carreras con cinco ponches en seis entradas sobre la loma.

Kyle Tucker inició la novena con un sencillo por Houston, pero Adam Cimber ponchó a Nico Goodrum antes de que el emergente Aledmys Díaz conectara una línea para doble matanza que le dio a Cimber su primer rescate de la campaña.
