Kyle Schwarber conectó su 29mo jonrón de la temporada para liderar la Liga Nacional, J.T. Realmuto pegó un cuadrangular y un doble, y los Filis de Filadelfia echaron a perder el debut en las Grandes Ligas del lanzador prospecto Max Meyer, con una victoria 10-0 el sábado ante los Marlins de Miami.

Didi Gregorius y Rhys Hoskins también se volaron la barda por los Filis, que no habían anotado más de tres carreras en sus anteriores siete duelos. Gregorius terminó con cuatro remolcadas.

El abridor de Filadelfia Ranger Suárez lanzó cinco entradas sin recibir anotación, con cuatro hits. Tras ser activado de la lista de lesionados el sábado Suárez ponchó a cuatro en su primera salida desde el 29 de junio. El pitcher venezolano estuvo fuera por una tensión en la espalda baja.

Meyer, de 23 años, fue la tercera selección general del Draft del 2020. Salió del juego tras el doble con un out de Realmuto en la sexta. Meyer permitió cinco carreras, siete hits y un boleto, ponchando a cinco.

Por los Filis, el panameño Jonathan Camargo de 1-1. El venezolano Odúbel Herrera de 1-1.

Por los Marlins, el venezolano Jesús Aguilar de 3-2. El cubano Jorge Soler de 3-0. El dominicano Jesús Sánchez de 1-0, Avisail García de 3-0 y Bryan de la Cruz de 3-0.
