Los Reales de Kansas City despiden a Dayton Moore, el gerente general que tomó a un club que solía perder 100 juegos a cada rato para disputar dos Series Mundiales y ganar el campeonato de 2015 antes de volver a caer en un ciclo de mediocridad

Los Reales de Kansas City despidieron el miércoles a Dayton Moore, el gerente general que tomó a un club que solía perder 100 juegos a cada rato para disputar dos Series Mundiales y ganar el campeonato de 2015 antes de volver a caer en un ciclo de mediocridad.

El dueño de los Reales John Sherman, quien ratificó a Moore en el cargo tras adquirir la franquicia de David Glass en 2019, anunció la decisión en una rueda de prensa en la que Moore estuvo presente.

Moore había sido ascendido de gerente general a presidente de operaciones de béisbol a inicios de este año. J.J. Picollo, su subalterno por mucho tiempo, asumió como gerente general. Picollo se encargará ahora de las operaciones de béisbol.

Los Reales amanecieron el miércoles con foja de 59-89 y enfrentaban a los Mellizos de Minnesota la noche del miércoles.
