Rays cortan mala racha, con victoria sobre Orioles

Harold Ramírez rompió la igualdad por medio de un elevado de sacrificio en la parte alta de la novena entrada y los Rays de Tampa Bay cortaron una seguidilla de cuatro derrotas al superar el sábado 7-6 a los Orioles de Baltimore.

El dominicano Francisco Mejía sumó cuatro imparables, la mayor cantidad en su carrera, mientras que el cubano Yandy Díaz aportó tres.

Díaz gestionó además un boleto de Dillon Tate (0-3) con un out en la novena entrada. Ji-Man Choi siguió con un sencillo y Tate golpeó al cubano Randy Arozarena con un lanzamiento, cuando había dos strikes, para llenar las bases.

El elevado del colombiano Ramírez dio la ventaja a los Rays. Colin Poche resolvió la parte baja del noveno episodio para conseguir su cuarto rescate.

Calvin Faucher (1-1) resolvió de forma perfecta el octavo inning para llevarse la primera victoria en su carrera, un día después de sufrir la derrota.

Por los Rays, los dominicanos Manuel Margot de 5-1 con una anotada y dos impulsadas, Francisco Mejía de 4-4 con una anotada. Los cubanos Díaz de 4-3 con tres anotadas, Arozarena de 4-1. El colombiano Ramírez de 4-2 con tes impulsadas. El mexicano Isaac Paredes de 4-0.

Por los Orioles, los venezolanos Anthony Santander de 5-2 con una anotada y una empujada, Robinson Chirinos de 4-3 con cuatro empujadas, Rougned Odor de 2-0. El dominicano Jorge Mateo de 4-0.
