Green Bay (1-1) ganó su noveno partido consecutivo inaugural de local. Los Packers, que fueron arrollados 38-3 por los Saints de Nueva Orleans en la primera semana de la temporada, se vieron más como el equipo que tuvo foja de 13-3 en cada una de las primeras dos campañas del entrenador Matt LaFleur al timón.
