El venezolano Pablo López admitió una carrera sucia en siete entradas sólidas y los Marlins de Miami derrotaron el miércoles 7-4 a los Rockies de Colorado.

Garrett Cooper, Jazz Chisholm Jr., y el cubano Jorge Soler dispararon cuadrangulares por Miami.

Los Marlins, que jugaron su segundo partido como locales de la temporada con el techo abierto del IoanDepot Park, buscarán concretar la barrida en la serie de tres duelos el jueves.

López (5-3) concedió cuatro hits, otorgó tres bases por bolas y ponchó a seis enemigos, para ganar por primera vez desde el 7 de mayo.

El tablazo de dos carreras de Cooper coronó un ataque de cuatro anotaciones en el tercer inning ante Chad Kuhl (4-5) y puso a Miami al frente 4-1. Jon Berti pegó un triple productor y anotó en el sencillo de Chisholm antes de que Cooper depositara la esférica detrás de la barda del jardín central para su quinto jonrón de la temporada.

Por los Marlins, el cubano Jorge Soler de 3-1 con una producida y una anotada. Los venezolanos Avisaíl García de 4-2; Miguel Rojas de 4-2 con una anotada; Jesús Aguilar de 4-1. El dominicano Jesús Sánchez de 4-0.

Por los Rockies, los venezolanos Elías Díaz de 4-1 con tres producidas y una anotada; Yonathan Daza de 5-2 con una anotada. El dominicano Elehuris Montero sin turno al bate y una anotada. El cubano José Iglesias de 3-1.
