Que tus 22 nuevas adquisiciones se acoplen bien ha sido una tarea complicada para el técnico del Nottingham Forest Steve Cooper.

La derrota por 4-0 el lunes ante Leicester, un club sin victorias, dejó al Forest en el último puesto de la Liga Premier, y Cooper podría convertirse en el próximo entrenador de la primera división que pierde su trabajo.

Frente al dueño tailandés Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, Leicester obtuvo un respiro con un despliegue dominante tras seis derrotas seguidas.

James Maddison firmó un doblete, mientras que Harvey Barnes y el suplente Patson Daka aportaron los otros dos goles en el estadio King Power.

De momento, el técnico de Leicester Brendan Rodgers se quitó la presión. Había quedado desanimado tras la derrota 6-2 ante Tottenham previo al parón internacional.

Ahora es el Forest el equipo en crisis y Cooper el técnico que pelea por sobrevivir.

Tras asegurar su retorno a la liga tras 23 años de ausencia, el Forest fue uno de los equipos que más gastó en Europa — firmó un récord de 22 jugadores que costaron más de 150 millones de dólares.

El Forest reemplazó a Leicester en el fondo de la tabla y ha concedido 16 goles en sus últimos cuatro duelos, además de que ha perdido cinco consecutivos.
