Clayton Kershaw ponchó a 10, Chris Taylor pegó un jonrón de tres carreras en el que los Dodgers impugnaron con éxito una decisión sobre interferencia de aficionados y Los Ángeles derrotó 5-2 el lunes a los Diamondbacks de Arizona.

Los Dodgers han derrotado a los Diamondbacks en 19 de sus últimos 20 encuentros en el Dodger Stadium.

Kershaw (9-3) admitió una carrera y seis hits en seis innings de labor para llevarse su segunda victoria seguida, tras una derrota y cuatro juegos sin decisión desde el 24 de julio. Igualó su segunda mejor marca de ponches de la temporada. El izquierdo retiró a sus rivales en orden en el tercero. Merrill Kelly (12-7) cargó con la derrota.

El cerrador Craig Kimbrel lanzó en el noveno y admitió un sencillo al abrir el episodio y después alcanzó a dos bateadores seguidos para llenar las bases. Sergio Alcántara salió como bateador emergente y pegó un rodado que terminó en un doble play.
