El cubano Aledmys Díaz conectó un grand slam, Jake Odorizzi lanzó cinco entradas con pelota de un imparable y los Astros de Houston blanquearon 5-0 a los Tigres de Detroit el domingo para completar una barrida de cuatro juegos y ligar siete victorias.

El segundo cuadrangular de la temporada para Díaz llegó en la tercera entrada en una bola rápida de 92 millas del relevista de los Tigres Drew Hutchison (0-3). La mandó 347 pies del jardín entre izquierdo y central y se llevó por delante a José Altuve, Alex Bregman y Yordan Álvarez para tomar una ventaja de 4-0.

Bregman extendió la delantera con un jonrón solitario frente a Joe Jiménez para su quinto vuelacercas del año.

Houston terminó con foja de 7-0 una estancia en casa al rojo vivo contra Seattle y Detroit. Cuando arrancaron esas dos series, tenía récord de 11-11.

Odorizzi (3-2) permitió un imparable en cinco entradas, ponchando a cinco. El veterano derecho solo ha permitido una carrera en sus últimas tres aperturas después de aceptar 12 en sus primeras tres del año.
