Brandon Crawford consiguió el quinto grand slam en su carrera, Mike Yastrzemski añadió un jonrón y un doble, y los Gigantes de San Francisco apalearon el viernes 15-6 a los Marlins de Miami.

Yastrzemski, Joc Pederson, el venezolano Thairo Estrada y Jason Vosler pegaron sendos vuelacercas ante el relevista venezolano Elieser Hernández, quien estaba contemplado originalmente como abridor pero terminó permitiendo ocho anotaciones en un relevo largo.

Los cinco cuadrangulares en un juego representaron la mayor cifra de los Gigantes en la campaña.

Zack Littell (1-1) repartió cuatro ponches en un relevo de dos innings.

El venezolano Wilmer Flores disparó un doble remolcador y Yastrzemski consiguió un jonrón de tres carreras en la segunda entrada, para que San Francisco se colocara adelante por 5-0.

El garrotazo de Crawford frente al relevista Louis Head coronó un racimo de seis anotaciones en el séptimo episodio y aumentó a 15-2 la ventaja de San Francisco.

Por los Gigantes, los venezolanos Flores de 4-3 con tres anotadas y una remolcada, Estrada de 5-2 con dos anotadas y dos producidas.

Por los Marlins, el cubano Jorge Soler de 3-1 con una anotada. Los dominicanos Bryan de la Cruz de 2-0, Jesús Sánchez de 4-1 con una anotada y una remolcada. Los venezolanos Jesús Aguilar de 4-0, Avisaíl García de 2-0 con una anotada, Willians Astudillo de 1-0, Miguel Rojas de 4-0.
