Adolis García conectó un jonrón en el comienzo de la parte baja de la novena entrada, y los Rangers de Texas superaron el sábado 3-2 a los Nacionales de Washington.

El toletero cubano igualó a Corey Seager como líder jonronero del equipo con 15 batazos de cuatro esquinas. Encontró un slider del relevista Kyle Finnegan (2-2), con cuenta de 2-2, y colocó la pelota en el bullpen de Washington.

El dominicano Nelson Cruz empató la pizarra con un cuadrangular de dos carreras por los Nacionales ante su antiguo equipo en el sexto episodio, después de que Nathaniel Lowe había dado a Texas la delantera con un garrotazo de dos vueltas en el segundo episodio.

García definió el duelo luego de atrapar un elevado del venezolano Keibert Ruiz al pie de la barda del prado derecho en el comienzo de la novena entrada. A la carrera, atrapó un lineazo del también venezolano César Hernández par el segundo out.

Joe Barlow (3-1), el único derecho que lanzó en un día de bullpen por Texas, finalizó el noveno capítulo con un ponche al dominicano Víctor Robles.

Por los Nacionales, los dominicanos Juan Soto de 4-1 con una anotada, Cruz de 3-1 con una anotada y dos producidas, Victor Robles de 1-0. El cubano Yadiel Hernández de 2-1. Los venezolanos Ruiz de 4-1, Hernández de 3-0, Ehire Adrianza de 2-0.

Por los Rangers, el cubano García de 4-1 con una anotada y una empujada. El dominicano Leody Taveras de 3-1. El colombiano Meibrys Viloria de 3-2.
