Fabinho se perderá la final de la Copa FA el sábado, pero el volante de Liverpool estaría en condiciones de jugar en la final de la Liga de Campeones el 28 de mayo, dijo el técnico Jurgen Klopp el jueves.

El internacional brasileño salió lesionado con un problema muscular en la victoria 2-1 de visita a Aston Villa en la Liga Premier el martes.

Quedó descartado para la final de la Copa FA contra Chelsea en el estadio Wembley, así como los últimos dos partidos de Liverpool en la Liga Premier, contra Southampton y Wolverhampton, al intentar darle caza al líder Manchester City por el título.

Sin embargo, Klopp confía contar con Fabinho para el duelo contra el Real Madrid en la final de la Liga de Campeones en París.

“Existe una buena posibilidad de que podrá estar disponible", dijo Klopp, quien se expresó confiado que Liverpool podría solventar la ausencia de Fabinho en lo que resta de su temporada doméstica.

“Vamos a hacerlo. Tenemos con qué", dijo. “Tenerle o no marca diferencias, pero todo está bien. Son cosas normales que pasan”, dijo.

Jordan Henderson asumirá el puesto de volante de contención ante Chelsea, una función que rara vez ha tenido esta temporada. Klopp recurriría a Thiago Alcántara y Naby Keita para completar su bloque de tres de volantes.
