Snoop Dog has Words for NFL Draft Prospect

Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg Eminem, Mary J. Blige y Kendrick Lamar se presentarán por primera vez juntos en el espectáculo de medio tiempo del Super Bowl

La NFL Pepsi y Roc Nation anunciaron el jueves que los cinco íconos musicales tendrán su espectáculo el 13 de febrero en el SoFi Stadium en Inglewood, California. Dre, Snoop Dogg y Lamar son originarios del sur de California.

“La oportunidad de presentarnos en el espectáculo del medio tiempo del Super Bowl, y hacerlo en mi propia casa, será una de las más grandes emociones de mi carrera”, dijo Dr. Dre en un comunicado. El galardonado con siete Grammy agregó que su presentación será “un momento de culto inolvidable”.

El Super Bowl regresará a la zona de Los Angeles por primera vez desde 1993. Es el tercer año de colaboración entre la NFL, Pepsi y Roc Nation.

Roc Nation y el productor nominado al Emmy, Jesse Collins, serán coproductores del medio tiempo. El juego y el espectáculo se transmitirán en vivo por NBC.

Los cinco músicos juntos suman 44 premios Grammy. Eminem es el más galardonado con 15.

El fundador de Roc Nation Jay-Z dijo en un comunicado que su espectáculo “será historia escribiéndose”.

Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Blige y Lamar se suman a una lista de músicos célebres que se han presentado en el espectáculo del medio tiempo del Super Bowl que incluye a Beyoncé, Madonna, Coldplay, Katy Perry, U2, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Jennifer López, Shakira y el artista del año pasado, The Weeknd.
