Yandy Díaz conectó un doble de tres carreras, Drew Rasmussen permitió una en cinco innings y los Rays de Tampa Bay regresaron del parón por el Juego de las Estrellas con una victoria el viernes por 7-3 sobre los Reales de Kansas City.

Díaz coronó un cuarto episodio con cuatro anotaciones con un hit con las bases llenas que se fue a la línea del jardín izquierdo y adelantó a los Rays 5-1 en la pizarra. El cubano ha impulsado una carrera en cinco de sus ocho últimos juegos e igualó su mejor marca de la temporada con tres remolcadas.

Rasmussen (6-3) permitió una carrera limpia y siete hits, dio un pase por bolas y abanicó a cuatro para anotarse el triunfo.

En su primera apertura en 11 días, Brad Keller (5-10) firmó una de sus peores salidas hasta la fecha: igualó su récord de cinco boletos y golpeó a un bateador. Además, concedió cinco anotaciones en cuatro entradas y ponchó a uno.

Por los Rays, los cubanos Yandy Díaz de 3-1, con tres remolcadas; Randy Arozarena de 4-1, con una producida. El mexicano Isaac Paredes de 3-0, con una anotada. El dominicano Francisco Mejía de 4-2, con dos anotadas y dos impulsadas.
