Diamondbacks remontan a Dodgers con un jonrón de Alcántara

Sergio Alcántara, que salió como reemplazo defensivo en el último inning, pegó un jonrón de tres carreras en el 10mo para conseguir una remontada de los Diamondbacks de Arizona, que se impusieron 5-3 a los Dodgers de Los Ángeles.

Alcántara envió su bambinazo -su quinto esta temporada- muy por encima de la cerca del jardín derecho ante el cerrador Craig Kimbrel. Los Diamondbacks cortaron una racha de 10 derrotas ante los Dodgers y evitaron que les barrieran en la serie de tres.

Kimbrel (4-6) falló su quinto rescate de la temporada. Los Dodgers se habían puesto 3-2 en la parte alta del 10mo cuando Austin Barnes anotó en un lanzamiento descontrolado.

Los Ángeles salió con varios jugadores suplentes, sin muchas de sus estrellas entre los titulares, al día siguiente de asegurarse el título del oeste de la Liga Nacional.

El derecho Michael Groove batió su récord personal con cinco innings de labor tras ser reclamado por los Dodgers del Oklahoma City de Triple-A. Admitió dos hits, dos jonrones solitarios, pero hizo una buena labor con un boleto y cuatro ponches.

La victoria fue para el dominicano Reyes Moronta (1-0) por un inning de labor.

Por los Dodgers, el cubano Miguel Vargas de 4-0. El dominicano Hanser Alberto de 4-1.

Por los Diamondbacks, los dominicanos Ketel Marte de 4-0 con una anotada; Geraldo Perdomo de 2-0; Sergio Alcántara de 1-1 con una anotada y tres remolcadas.
