Juan Soto sacudió un jonrón de tres carreras y los Nacionales de Washington vencieron el domingo 9-3 a los Filis de Filadelfia para evitar ser barridos en la serie de cinco juegos.

Washington rompió una racha de ocho derrotas y cortó la seguidilla de siete victorias de los Filis como visitantes.

Los Filis no barren una serie de cinco juegos desde que arrasaron a los Marlins en 2001 como locales. Bryce Harper y compañía querían desquitarse tras ser barridos en cinco encuentros por Washington en septiembre de 2019.

El abridor de los Nats Jackson Tetreault (1-1) se apuntó su primera victoria en la mayores, en su segunda aparición. El derecho de 26 años permitió tres carreras sucias en siete innings, con dos boletos, seis hits y dos ponches.
