Ji-Man Choi consiguió un doblete productor en la undécima entrada para que los Rays de Tampa Bay superaran el miércoles 4-3 a los Rangers de Texas, quienes no lograron colocarse en lo que hubiera sido su primera foja positiva en la campaña.

El dominicano Vidal Bruján, noveno bate, conectó un elevado de sacrificio en la décima entrada por Tampa Bay. Su sencillo en la segunda cortó una seguidilla de 30 Rays retirados desde el segundo capítulo del juego del martes, una derrota por 3-0.

Los Rangers igualaron el encuentro mediante un sencillo productor del cubano Adolis García en la parte baja del décimo episodio. Sin embargo, dejaron las bases llenas cuando el novato Zach Reks bateó un elevado al bosque izquierdo.

Texas dejó a 14 corredores en los senderos.

El zurdo Colin Poche (1-0), sexto lanzador de los Rays, repartió un par de ponches en la décima entrada. Matt Wisler resolvió la undécima para lograr su tercer salvamento en tres oportunidades.

El dominicano Dennis Santana (2-2) cubrió el último par de innings por Texas.
