Corey Dickerson igualó la pizarra con un sencillo dentro del cuadro y Tyler O'Neill gestionó un boleto con las bases llenas, ambos en la parte baja de la novena entrada, para que los Cardenales de San Luis remontaran y vencieran el sábado 6-5 a los Bravos de Atlanta.

Nolan Arenado y Andrew Knizner pegaron sendos vuelacercas por San Luis, que dejó tendidos a sus rivales en el terreno por sexta ocasión en esta campaña.

Brendan Donovan conectó un doblete ante Kenley Jansen (5-1) en el noveno capítulo con un out y avanzó a tercera gracias a un lanzamiento descontrolado. Jansen regaló un boleto a Paul Goldschmidt y propinó un pelotazo a Nolan Arenado para llenar las bases.
