Denzel Ward, cornerback seleccionado al Pro Bowl ingresó en la lista de COVID-19 y se perderá el partido del domingo, último de los Browns de Cleveland en la temporada regular, ante los Bengals de Cincinnati.

Ward estaba ya cuestionable por una lesión inguinal sufrida en el duelo del lunes, un revés en Pittsburgh. El jugador de cuarto año logró tres intercepciones el 17 de noviembre, incluida una con devolución de 99 yardas para un touchdown, en el triunfo por 41-16 sobre los Bengals.

Los Browns terminarán una campaña decepcionante sin Ward ni el linebacker Malcolm Smith, incluido también en la lista de COVID-19.

Greedy Williams será el reemplazo probable de Ward en la alineación titular, pero lidia con una lesión de hombro y se le consideraba cuestionable en el reporte de lesionados del viernes.

Los Browns colocaron en activo al corredor D'Ernest Johnson, procedente de la lista de COVID-19. El regreso sería oportuno, en momentos en que Nick Chubb sufre lesiones en las costillas y el pecho, mientras que Kareem Hunt presenta una dolencia en un tobillo.
