Brissett y Browns se reponen de colapso; vencen a Steelers

Jacoby Brissett lanzó dos pases de anotación, Nick Chubb logró un touchdown mediante un acarreo y los Browns de Cleveland se recuperaron del bochornoso colapso de hace cuatro días para vencer el jueves 29-17 a los Steelers de Pittsburgh, sus rivales acérrimos.

Cleveland (2-1) edificó una ventaja de nueve puntos al comienzo del último periodo, con el acarreo de una yarda de Chubb, y logró mantenerse al frente por poco.

Los Steelers (1-2) se acercaron a 23-17 con un gol de campo de 34 yardas de Chris Boswell con 1:48 minutos por jugarse, antes de que Pittsburgh intentara una patada corta.

Pero a diferencia de lo ocurrido el domingo, cuando los Jets de Nueva York remontaron un déficit de 13 puntos y se impusieron por 31-30 en los últimos 1:55 minutos, esta vez los Browns lograron desviar la patada y enviaron el balón fuera del terreno.

Finalmente, los seguidores de Cleveland pudieron respirar tranquilos cuando el cornerback Denzel Ward se arrojó sobre un balón que soltaron los Steelers en la zona de anotación y en la última jugada, para un touchdown que liquidó el encuentro.
