Los bomberos ucranianos, que en los últimos meses dedican parte de su tiempo a rescatar a personas de los edificios alcanzados por bombardeos, se centraron el fin de semana en una víctima peluda: un gatito gris y blanco.

Los rescatistas lucharon contra las llamas y el humo para sacar al gatito de debajo de una silla metálica en los escombros de un gran complejo de un hotel-restaurante de madera que fue alcanzado por un cohete en la ciudad de Járkiv, dijeron los servicios de emergencia del país el domingo en Facebook.

Un video mostraba a los bomberos acariciando y mimando al felino mientras lo llevaban a un lugar seguro.

“Hemos encontrado una belleza”, dijo uno de los bomberos mientras el gatito se contoneaba en los brazos de un colega.

Los servicios de emergencia ucranianos dijeron que la pata del gatito necesitaba atención médica.

“Héroes de nuestro tiempo”, proclamaron los servicios de emergencia sobre los bomberos. “Protegen, trabajan, salvan, tratan... Y le deseamos al gato una pronta recuperación”.
