Alec Bohm conectó el sencillo de la ventaja dentro de un racimo de cinco carreras en el quinto inning y añadió un doble remolcador en la sexta para que los Filis de Filadelfia derrotasen el miércoles por 7-2 a los Bravos de Atlanta y llevarse dos de tres de la serie.

Kyle Gibson (6-4) permitió dos carreras y cuatro hits en seis entradas. Los Filis (51.47) empataron a San Luis por el último comodín de la Liga Nacional, pendiente al juego entre los Cardenales y Azulejos por la noche en Toronto.

Bohm, el séptimo al bate de los Filis, extendió a 12 juegos su mejor racha personal con hits. Sumó juegos consecutivos con más de un hit por primera vez desde que debutó en Grandes Ligas en 2020. Ha conectado 20 hits en 41 (.488), con nueve empujadas en esa racha, elevando a .293 su promedio en la temporada.

Los errores de Charlie Morton (5-5) y el segunda base dominicano Robinson Canó contribuyeron al rally de los Filis en el quinto inning. Atlanta había cometido sólo 40 errores antes del juego, la tercera menor cantidad de las mayores, por detrás de Seattle (32) y San Luis (33).

Por los Bravos, el puertorriqueño Eddie Rosario de 4-2. El venezolano William Contreras de 4-0. Los dominicanos Marcell Ozuna de 4-1 y Canó de 4-0.

Por los Filis, el venezolano Odúbel Herrera de 3-1 con una anotada y una empujada.
