Charlie Blackmon disparó un triple que rompió el empate durante un ataque de dos carreras en la novena entrada, y los Rockies de Colorado se apuntaron el sábado un inusitado triunfo de visita, 3-1 sobre los Cachorros de Chicago.

Blackmon empujó al corredor emergente Garrett Hampson mediante su triple al rincón del jardín derecho ante el venezolano Adbert Alzolay (0-1), luego que C.J. Cron recibió un boleto con un out.

El venezolano Elías Díaz bateó un sencillo para remolcar a Blackmon, poniendo la pizarra 3-1. Los Rockies se llevaron así el triunfo pese a una salida dominante del novato Hayden Wesnecki, quien cumplió su cuarto inicio en las mayores.

El dominicano José Ureña lanzó seis innings destacados y los Rockies ganaron apenas por quinta ocasión en sus últimas 18 visitas. Colorado es el peor equipo de las Grandes Ligas fuera de casa, con una foja de 23-48.

Ureña permitió una carrera y siete hits. Dinelson Lamet y el dominicano Carlos Estévez trabajaron una entrada cada uno.

Por los Rockies, los venezolanos Yonathan Daza de 4-1, Díaz de 4-1 con dos impulsadas. El dominicano Elehuris Montero de 4-0.

Por los Cachorros, los mexicanos Alfonso Rivas de 3-2, Esteban Quiroz de 3-1. El puertorriqueño Nelson Velázquez de 3-1. El dominicano Christopher Morel de 3-0.
