Benzema, Courtois, De Bruyne, finalistas al Jugador del Año

Karim Benzema y Thibaut Courtois del Real Madrid, junto a Kevin De Bruyne del Manchester City fueron anunciados como finalistas al Jugador del Año de la UEFA

Dos compañeros del Real Madrid fueron incluidos entre los tres finalistas al jugador del año de la UEFA para la temporada anterior dada a conocer el viernes, mientras que no hay ningún futbolista del Liverpool.

El Madrid, campeón de la Liga de Campeones, será representado por Karim Benzema, quien sumó un máximo del torneo del 15 goles, y el guardameta Thibaut Courtois, quien destacó en la victoria 1-0 en la Final ante el Liverpool.

El centrocampista del Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne, quien es compañero de Courtois en la selección belga, completó la lista tras la votación de técnicos y periodistas seleccionados.

Para el galardón a los entrenadores, Carlo Ancelotti del Madrid está en la lista, junto a Jürgen Klopp del Liverpool y Pep Guardiola del Manchester City.

El 25 de agosto se anunciaran a los ganadores durante el sorteo de la fase de grupos de la Liga de Campeones en Estambul.

Ninguno de los nominados ha ganado anteriormente el premio de la UEFA, que en su primera edición del 2011 se llevó Lionel Messi. El año pasado ganó Jorginho, quien ayudó a Italia y al Chelsea a llevarse los títulos europeos.

La UEFA indicó que la votación para los premios de la categoría femenina continua y anunciaran a las finalistas la próxima semana.
