Bears ganan 20-17 a Bengals; consiguen 1er triunfo en la NFL

Justin Fields entró en la segunda mitad por Andy Dalton que se lesionó una rodilla contra su exequipo y el quarterback novato aprovechó su defensiva estelar para que los Bears de Chicago se impusieran el domingo 20-17 a Joe Burrow y los Bengals de Cincinnati.

Roquan Smith corrió 53 yardas tras intercepción y consiguió el primer touchdown de su carrera, uno de tres lanzamientos al hilo de Burrow en un período decisivo que resultó en la primera victoria de Chicago en la campaña.

Fields asumió la ofensiva definitiva de Chicago en el segundo cuarto al cabo e varias jugadas. Pero el aspecto más crucial para los Bears fue la recuperación de su defensiva después de que Matthew Stafford la mellara en el primer partido de Chicago en el que sucumbió ante los Rams de Los Ángeles

Los Bears iban arriba 20-3 antes de que Burrow lanzara un pase para touchdown de 43 yardas a Ja’Marr Chase.

Fields sufrió una intercepción en la 25 de Chicago. Logan Wilson atrapó el balón y lo llevó hasta la 7. Burrow conectó con Tee Higgins un pase para anotación de 7 yardas en la jugada siguiente que acercó a Bengals a 20-17 a 3:39 minutos del final.

Sn embargo, los bears defendieron su ventaja y consiguieron su tercer triunfo consecutivo sobre Cincinnati (1-1).
