Angelinos superan a Marineros con otro jonrón de Trout

Mike Trout pegó jonrón por quinta vez en la serie de cinco juegos y los Angelinos de Los Ángeles derrotaron 4-0 a los Marineros de Seattle el domingo.

Trout conectó un par de cuadrangulares en el juego inaugural de la serie, y uno en cada uno de los últimos tres partidos. Los cinco jonrones igualaron el récord para un pelotero en una serie contra los Marineros, junto con George Bell, en 1987 y con Trevor Story, de Boston, en esta temporada.

El batazo de dos carreras de Trout en la cuarta entrada fue el jonrón 52 de su carrera en contra de Seattle, igualando a Rafael Palmeiro con la mayor cantidad de cualquier jugador frente a los Marineros.

El tres veces Jugador Más Valioso de la Liga Americana tiene 21 bambinazos en la temporada, cuatro detrás del líder de las mayores, Aaron Judge, de los Yanquis.

Max Stassi añadió un doblete productor para los Angelinos, que ganaron por cuarta vez en cinco juegos contra Seattle.

Andrew Wantz (1-0) se apuntó la victoria, lanzando la sexta entrada con dos ponches. Seis pitchers de los Angelinos se combinaron para lanzar pelota de dos imparables. Logan Gilbert (7-3) aceptó dos carreras y cuatro hits en seis entradas.

Por los Angelinos el venezolano Luis Rengifo de 4-1 con una carrera anotada.

Por los Marineros el venezolano Eugenio Suárez de 3-0 y el dominicano Julio Rodríguez de 4-0.
