Jorge Alfaro conectó un sencillo para remolcar la carrera decisiva con un out en el 11mo inning y los Padres de San Diego se impusieron el martes por 3-2 a los Diamondbacks de Arizona.

Eric Hosmer la sacó del parque en el sexto episodio para igualar la pizarra para los Padres, que disputaron el segundo juego sin Manny Machado desde que el estelar tercera base se hizo daño en el tobillo izquierdo el domingo en Colorado.

Ha-Seong Kim había sacudido antes un doble remolcador para ayudar a San Diego a revertir la ventaja de 2-0 que había tomado Arizona.

Tras un boleto intencional a Hosmer, Alfaro envió un sencillo a la izquierda de Ian Kennedy (3-4), quien asumió la derrota, para remolcar al corredor emergente José Azócar desde la segunda base.

La victoria fue para Tim Hill (2-0) luego de retirar a Carson Kelly con las bases llenas para cerrar la parte alta del decisivo 11mo capítulo.

Por los Diamondbacks, los dominicanos Ketel Marte de 4-0; Geraldo Perdomo de 2-0 con una anotada.

Por los Padres, el venezolano José Azócar con una anotada. El dominicano Nomar Mazara de 5-0. El colombiano Jorge Alfaro de 5-2 con una remolcada.
