Willy Adames y Hunter Renfroe pegaron sendos vuelacercas por segundo día consecutivo, el novato Jason Alexander consiguió la primera victoria en su carrera y los Cerveceros de Milwaukee vencieron el sábado 7-3 a los Rojos de Cincinnati.

Jace Peterson empujó dos carreras mediante un doble en el sexto capítulo. La pelota rebotó y se fue por encima del primera base Mike Moustakas, cuyo salto fue infructuoso.

Milwaukee ganó juegos consecutivos, algo que no había logrado en el mes.

Los irregulares Rojos han perdido tres juegos en fila después de ganar tres consecutivos. Y esas tres victorias en fila vinieron después de una seguidilla de cuatro tropiezos.

Alexander (1-0) toleró una carrera sucia a lo largo de cinco entradas, durante su cuarta apertura antes de recibir cuatro hits y dos carreras en la sexta.

En total, admitió ocho inatrapables y tres carreras —dos limpias—, con un boleto y dos ponches en cinco innings y dos tercios.

Adames dio a Milwaukee una ventaja de 3-0, con un jonrón de dos carreras, ante Graham Ashcraft (3-1). El dominicano llegó a 13 vuelacercas en la campaña.

Por los Cerveceros, el dominicano Adames de 5-1 con una anotada y dos impulsadas. El mexicano Luis Urías de 3-1 con una empujada. El venezolano Omar Narváez de 4-0 con una anotada.

Por los Rojos, el no batearon latinoamericanos.
